![]() ![]() Don't complain about it, just state the fact. If you find an issue in the game that you know needs to be fixed, speak up! But keep your wits about you. Link them a thread about how to properly dodge as a hunter and how to conserve energy or if you're feeling super helpful see if they're on, invite them to a game and show them how, bring someone into the community, don't push them out. Someone who says that jetpack needs 2 more charges by default probably doesn't fully understand how to micro jetpack usage. Discuss why that balance is bad, and how that change would effect the game negatively. However the more people that we as a community lash out at for having a bad idea the smaller our community becomes. I know how easy it is to let yourself go off on someone who has a pretty bad idea on how to balance something. Try as hard as you can to discuss balance, not argue it. That's negative feedback that isn't even constructive, we're playing Stage 2 now, that stuff from Vanilla is irrelevant. We should try our best as a community to focus on the game we have now, and work out the balance/UI/system issues that it has, which also means, for example, we can't keep playing the "this lobby issue has been around since Vanilla" card. Now before you bring out the pitchfork I don't mean the core gameplay issues it had should be forgotten, however Stage 2 cannot succeed if we keep trying to compare it side by side with Vanilla. I think there are some key factors to keep in mind so I'll go ahead and put them here and hopefully it can help us all as a community to shape Evolve into what it truly has the potential to be.įirst and foremost, I think we need to do our best to let go of the original Evolve (I'll refer to it as Vanilla just to avoid confusion). ![]() Also some people may have never been part of a beta, or have never actively tried to help one, but being part of this beta is something everyone can do and I think we should try to get as many people on board as we can. Often times people see "this game is now free" and get the impression that it's a finished product and unfortunately that's not true, which is the case with Evolve Stage 2. This has not been possible since 2018.” Pinocchioh went on to say that "it's not fully back in terms of store or ranked matchmaking, but we are able to search and host games once again.Hello, I'm WitsEnd and I want you to help me make Evolve more successful. "I have played it myself with multiple of my server members. "The servers are in fact back on for Evolve Stage 2," Pinocchioh from Evolve Reunited 2.0 recently told PC Gamer. The company ultimately returned peer-to-peer functionality to the title, somehow bringing the servers for Evolve Stage 2 back online in the process. When a relay server handling the matchmaking for Evolve went down earlier this month, players on the Evolve Reunited 2.0 Discord channel brought the problem to the attention of 2K Games. While players could still fight bots, the charm had always always been the multiplayer. The community continued to enjoy Evolve by taking advantage of its peer-to-peer functionality, but since the free-to-play version, Evolve Stage 2, relied on a series of dedicated servers, the game was basically dead. ![]() ![]() RELATED: The 14 Best Survival Games On Xbox Game Pass ![]()
